I just returned from Redondo Beach where I attended the National Institute of Family & Life Advocates (NIFLA) training in limited obstetric ultrasound. This, along with my RN license and a lot of hands-on training, will enable me to perform ultrasounds on abortion-minded or abortion vulnerable women! There is nothing like seeing that life inside the woman and zeroing in on the heart beat, so she can see the life that is inside her. By the time she sees that picture on the screen, she has had a positive pregnancy test, counseling regarding fetal development and abortion alternatives, and then living proof that the life inside her is real. Statistics show that 85-95% of women who see the life within them will choose life. I am honored and humbled to be a part of this calling and I covet your prayers for my continued training, as well as protection on the pregnancy centers who offer this service to women. In our current political climate, it is certain that we will be highly scrutinized and attempts will be made to shut the centers down.
I also received some great news from Stonecroft Ministries. I submitted a "talk" to share with women at luncheons across the country and I have received preliminary approval from the Speaker Review Committee. I will present the talk (which includes three of my songs) to the entire review committee on January 27, 2009. Once I am approved, I will potentially begin speaking and singing to monthly women's groups across the country! It is an awesome opportunity to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to share my testimony and music in an effort to touch the hearts and lives of women who are looking for answers. Please pray with me as I step out on this new venture! I am excited to see what God will do in and through me as I reach out to women in this way.

ONE MORE THING and last, but not least!!! I am awaiting news from MCTMG Radio in Nashville, TN, as to whether or not I am the Artist and/or Songwriter of the Year!! As you may recall, I was nominated Songwriter of the Month in February 2008 for Love the Way, and was named Artist of the Month in April 2008 for It's Your Quiet Love. They are currently reviewing all winners and we should know within 45 days. Please continue to pray for God's will. It would be awesome to win a $20,000 recording contract so that I could record some new songs that I've written and what a blessing to be able to do it in Tennessee, the music capital of the world!!
